FAQs

You got questions? We got answers

Where does your coffee come from?

Great question! Our coffee comes from Driftwood Coffee Co. They are local to us here in South Texas and we believe strongly in them! We have been working with them from the very beginning!

You can learn more about them here.

What is the difference between ground and whole beans?

That's an easy one!

Ground beans will be pre ground by us at a medium-fine coarseness. This matches what you might find at the store. You would want to pick this option if you don't have a burr grinder at home. However, we do recommend investing in one! One last important note, ground beans will not stay as fresh as long as whole.

Whole beans are not ground. You want these if you have a grinder. They offer more versatility since different brew methods require different grind sizes. Whole beans will also stay fresher longer. There is less surface area for oxygen to hit the beans.

What is the best way to store the beans?

Coffee's worst enemies are light and oxygen. What you want to do is keep them in an airtight container out of the light. So in a pantry or cabinet is perfect if the container is clear. You can purchase air tight containers anywhere. Our favorite are from OXO.
